Our amazing Treasurer, Paul Noble, is running the 154km of the West Highland Way in under 35 hours(!) to raise funds for a new Community Hub at the Clyde Cycle Park. We have raised £50,000 through the kind donation of a local business in Cambuslang (Patterson’s) but we have a funding gap of £5,600 to realise the project.

We have already built a 250m skills circuit being used every week by cycle clubs and children and young people of all ages, women’s and men’s peer groups, schools from across the community and disabled groups. It is a haven that fosters physical well-being, instils a love for nature, and strengthens our community bonds.

By supporting Paul’s marathon run, you will play an integral role in bringing the next stage of Clyde Cycle Park to life. Your contributions will go towards a community hub at the Park, where people can meet, chat and have a drink and snack while using the facilities.

Your donation, no matter how big or small, will contribute to the realisation of our plans and leave a tangible legacy for our community.

With your support, we will make a difference to improving opportunities to cycle for the whole community. Thank you for helping us develop a community hub and meeting our funding goal. And thank you for supporting Paul running up the 4132 m ascent of the West Highland Way! A link to the JustGiving site is here.
